Lt Snell

Son of Ivan Edward and Marjorie Snell, of Tournerbury and Mengham House; brother to Julianna and Francis. Captain Snell had been Chief Magistrate in the Marylebone district of London before finally settling on Hayling.

Christopher went to Eton and Oxford before joining the Guards. Christopher’s letters home indicated that he shared his father’s deep interest in farming. Mrs Francesca Snell, Seacourt, is his sister-in-law.
